Discussion of Douglas Sturm’s chapter, “Religion as Critique and the Critique of Religion: The Problem of the Self in the Modern World,” from Solidarity and Suffering: Toward a Politics of Relationality (SUNY Press, 1998). (Respondent: Ken Bigger)

Conference sessions will be organized as discussions of papers circulated and read in advance by participants.

Beginning Monday, October 13, you may obtain a set of the printed papers from Sandy Crane in the Marty Center.

These papers are also available online to conference participants. Participants should have received a username and password that will be required to access these papers.
