Art Farnsley is a research fellow at the Center for the Study of Religion and American Culture at IUPUI and is also Executive Officer of the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion. His books include Sacred Circles, Public Squares: The Multicentering of American Religion; Rising Expectations: Urban Congregations, Welfare Reform, and Civic Life; and Southern Baptist Politics.
