Jerry Davich is the social issues/specialty reporter and a weekly columnist for The Times Newspapers of Northwest Indiana/South Chicago, a daily newspaper serving several counties in both Indiana and Illinois. Davich began with The Times as a political cartoonist, before moving on to cover various reporting beats, including health, the environment and also a features stint. Davich, 42, lives in Portage, Indiana, with his wife, Cherie, and two children.
