Angela Tarango is a doctoral student
in the Graduate Program in Religion at Duke University. Her focus is American
religious history with a particular interest in both American Pentecostal
history and Native American Christianity. She is currently writing her
dissertation, titled "Choosing the Jesus Way: The Assemblies of God's
Home Missions Program and the Development of a Native American Pentecostal
Identity." She holds a B.A. from Wellesley College in Religion and
History and an M.T.S. from Harvard Divinity School.
