Hyojae Lee is the senior pastor of Vancouver Mustard Seed Church and a Th.M. candidate at Regent College (Vancouver, BC), researching Calvin, law, and economics. Formerly, Lee was a journalist for The Chosun Ilbo in Seoul, South Korea. He holds a B.A. in Sociology from Seoul National University and an M.Div. with a concentration in Marketplace Theology from Regent College.
Beth Underwood is Associate Professor of Sociology in the Department of Anthropology, Sociology, and Social Work at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Her areas of specialization include Demography, Sociology of the Family, and East Asian Studies. She is the author of Challenged Identities: North American Missionaries in Korea, 1884-1934, and is currently working on a project entitled Generations of Childhood in Korea, a collection and discussion of reminiscences of former “missionary kids” in Korea.
